HUGE TOTAL FOR AUSTRALIANS

Australians have a lot to think about in their dressing rooms before coming on to the field to bat their first innings at kotla.The reason...? the huge total put up by Indians .Team India scored 613 runs for the falll of seven wickets to put further pressire on their opponents.Opener Gamphir and Laxman scored double centuries to help India amass such a big score.Then there was handy contributions from Sachin who scored 68 and Skipper Kumble humself who scored a quickfire 45 runs.There was excitement in the middle towards the close of the Indian innings when tailender Zaheer Khan scored 27 runs by hitting all around the park.Kumble wanted Laxman to score his 200 runs before he declared ...Well another Superb show by the Men in Blue...!!!

LAXMAN DOES IT AGAIN!!!!

VVS Laxman is the man of the moment after a wonderful batting performance in the third test match.He scored 200 runs and remained unbeaten!!!.Now thats simply amazing!!!rite..?.Laxman has showcased his batting skills against Australia by scoring centuries at venues like Sydney,Adelaide,etc.He was supported by Gautam Gamphir at the other end who too managed to score a double hundred .Gautam scored 206 before falling to Shane Watson.There was also a record partnetship between the two players of close to 278 runs ....adding to the Australians woes.Laxman's contribution to the team was excellent and so also was Gautam's.

THUMPING INDIAN VICTORY

Team India came up with an outstanding performance against world champs Australia in the second test match by winning comprehensively.Everything went right for the Indians ,be it bowling,batting or fielding .Australians seemed to be on the back foot all throughout the test match.Skipper Ricky Ponting said that his team has to go back to square one and re-think their strategies and come back hard at the opposition in the next test match.Team India has to be careful playing Aussies in their next match at Kotla.The defeat will certainly play on the minds of the Aussies for some time but they will have to prove their mettle soon.We cricket lovers will get to see a entertaining match ............happy cricketing.

CONFIDENT TEAM INDIA

Team India having forced a draw in the first test match against Australia,will certainly be high on their confidence levels going into the second test match.Anil kumble though not-so-satisfied with his personal contribution to the game,will surely be happy with the end-result of the match.The Aussies went on to make a good total of 430 runs in their first innings putting Indian team under pressure.The Indians came back strong getting to a total close to Australia's total of 430 runs.Let's all hope that we will get to see much more action -packed games like the one that took place at Bangalore.

HATS OFF! ...TO ZAHEER AND BHAJJI

Indian cricket team seemed to have got their best tailenders-Zaheer khan and Harbhajan singh.This fact is proved by their superb batting performance in the latest test match held at Bangalore.Zaheer scored a gritty half-century and so did bhajji only to add to the delight of Indian cricket fans.The Australian team were never in a good position to get both these players out quickly.Their performance shows that Indian cricket team's tailenders are hard-hitters too!!

GOODBYE TO DADA..

Sourav ganguly recently declared that this series played against Australia will be his last.This news came as a shock to his fans all over India.Many of us don't want him to retire so soon as we expect more outstanding performances from him.Dada stated that he was not treated well by some people and that he wanted to lead a pressure-free life.Certainly any player has ups and downs in his carrer and even sourav had a few bad performances to his name.But he calling it quits will come as a major blow to his die-hard fans all over the world.
